Murrells Inlet Presbyterian Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

Pete Brzezinski

Supply Pastor

Rev. Peter Brzezinski, Retired Army Chaplain

Chaplain Colonel Pete Brzezinski served 43 years in the US Army, 30 of those as a Chaplain.  Originally from Berlin, CT, he has served at 18 different duty stations worldwide, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Legion of Merit medal for his service to the Medical Command of the Army as command chaplain for the Surgeon General of the Army, supervising hospital chaplains worldwide. Chaplain Brzezinski retired in March, 2020 and lives in Murrells Inlet with his wife Wendy.  They have two daughters; Betsy, 34, a missionary in Guatemala; and Marie, 26, a special education teacher in Alabama.  He is a member of New Harmony Presbytery.
