If you knit, crochet, or have a craft to share? Please join the "Crafty Crafer's" group of dedicated ladies who make wonderful items! Come one and come all...men and women..boys and girls!...but COME! They have changed their name and not the purpose. They are going to be doing all kinds of crafts and soon be holding classes. So, if you have a craft that you would like to share with us, please see Darlene for more details and come every Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Conference Room. Please reach out to anyone in your neighborhood that would like to join this group.

Thank you everyone who contributed to the SUPER BOWL Sunday donations that are to be used for the Baskervill Food Pantry in Pawleys Island. We raised $600.00 and this amount will go a long way for those in need in the community. 

April 5th is the next ARTS AND CRAFT event but with a twist! All proceeds go to the SOUTH STRAND HELPING HANDS food drive. Please be sure to bring your bags of non-perishable items and donate them. Look for more details in April Newsletter.

Please continue to help support the food bank by contributing non-perishable items. Our goal for 2025 is 2000 pounds. It doesn't matter when really, just whenever you are out shopping, which for most of us is every week...pick up a can or two of an item and put them in a bag and bring to the church at any time and they can be stored in a bag until the 2nd Sunday of each month. Be sure to pick up your bag on the first Sunday of each month and return the next Sunday. Proceeds taken to the Food Bank on that 2nd Monday.

The BLOOD BANK DRIVE will be here at the church on Monday, March 17th from 11 am until 3 pm in the Fellowship Hall. If you would like to sign up to give blood, please call 1-800-RED CROSS and mention MIPC. Blood is needed for those who have experienced the devastation in North Carolina and California. 

We will be planning a "SHINING STAR SHOWCASE" on Friday, March 21st at 5:00 pm. We held this fun event last year and it was successful and FUN! The Choir will be the entertainment for the night as well as others who have some really unique talents that they would like to share with you. If there is something that you would like to share with us, please see Iris or the office. Plans are for pizza, salads, Refreshments, and Novelty desserts! Join us on this FUN evening! Also....let us know if you plan to attend and the # in your party so we can plan the slices of pizza!
