Our final Arts & Craft Festival for the year 2024 is set for Saturday, November 16th from 10 am until 3 pm. The theme will be the Holiday Season! This event's proceeds will go toward the cost of our 100th Year Anniversary Celebration in June of 2025. We are looking forward to going out with a BANG! This will be a fantastic opportunity to get some Christmas gifts for family, friends, co-workers, etc. This one will be all about the Christmas holidays, complete with drawings, hot dogs with sauerkraut and chili and Baked goods and a small section of "slightly used" Christmas items!!

We are interested in those in our congregation and neighbors and perhaps the community  to donate Christmas items that are still in undamaged shape and perfect for re-sale! We would like to fill 1/2 of the Fellowship Hall with gifts of Christmas! You would need to be sure they are brought to the church between the 1st and 10th of November, Monday thru Wednesday, between the hours of 9:30 am and 1:00 pm. This will give us time to organize and price them before the actual event on the 16th. We will also need BAKERS for the Baked Goods on this day! We just couldn't go without baked goods especially with Thanksgiving right around the corner. If you would be interested in helping out with the baking once again, please sign up on the sheet in the Fellowship Hall starting the 28th of October. We are looking for baked goods that can be cut up and separated and marked for a quick "snack" sale! Please mark what they are and if they contain nuts. If anyone can do sugar-free and gluten-free baking, please let us know! We have had many calls for these items! Thanks in advance!

Do you knit or crochet, or have a craft to share? Please join us every Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 pm in the Conference room. The "Stitch and a Prayer" group meet at this day and time. There is fellowship, laughter, and time to work on new and beautiful things for our next years Arts & Craft festivals!

Please continue to help support the food bank by contributing non-perishable items. Our goal for 2024 is 2100 pounds! So far we have reached 1,456 pounds with 644 to go! That would be 322 pounds each for November and December! With God...all things are possible! Pick up your bag on the first Sunday of each month, return the following Sunday. The delivery to Helping Hands is the 2nd Monday of each month at 9 am. There is LOTS of giving going on...but that is what God expects us to do as Christians! Please give generously and with a grateful heart! We thank you for your participation in every mission we have! Donations are accepted as well.

Thanks to all who attended the CHUNKY KNIT BLANKET class on Friday October 18th. There were 9 in attendance, and I think we will be ready for blanket and pillow making for the upcoming Arts & Craft Festival next May!

Be sure to check out our Facebook page for the church. LIKE, FOLLOW, and SHARE when on there! Also when LIVE STREAMING! It helps the church!

Coming in November is Stewardship Month and the Samaritan Purse Christmas Shoebox. Be praying for the Lord to direct your path to a time of giving. We are planning a "Shoebox Packing Party" on Saturday, November 2nd from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm. Start collecting items for boys and girls of all ages. Items of fun and faith. There is a list of items to purchase and do your own box or bring them with you on the 2nd! You can also donate $25 to this cause which would cover the cost of shipping these boxes and money toward purchasing the WOW items for the children. You can put in the offering plate, mail to the church, go online here at the website and contribute at the GIVE button (upper right corner) or come during office hours and give. All donations are appreciated!

Office hours at the present time are Monday through Wednesday, 9:30 am until 1:00 pm. If you need help after or before those hours, please call the church at 843-651-3751 and leave a message and someone will return your call within 24 hours. Thanks! If you would be able to help in the office, please contact Mary.

NOTE: there is a comment box in the Narthex if you would like to make a suggestion.

If you have any ideas of guest speakers for our Coffee Chat time on occasion, please let the office know. Speaking of Coffee Chat, if you would like to help with the goodies, please sign the sheet in the Fellowship Hall. Your goodies are appreciated and will be enjoyed by all!

The speakers we find can give each of us resource to help those in need or ourselves...because you never know when you will need the services, even a neighbor or friend. There are those in our church and community who may need some help or just a kind phone call or a short loving note. Let us be prayerful.

LIFELINE SCREENING-Wednesday, October 23rd from 9 am until 4 pm with appointments only, was a huge success! Be looking for this event next year! What a blessing these tests are!

Praise be to the Father and may God Bless each of you!
